Every month Suburban Turmoil has the "Perfect Post Awards" and posts a list of bloggers and their nominees for their favorite post of the month from another blogger. Pretty darn cool. Today the list for June is up. I participated in that I chose a beautiful post by C. Delia at Left Handed Trees and Other Lies.
I encourage you go read her eloquent words. I was so moved by this particular piece because I so recognize how she feels. She has a deep passion for books and in this post she expresses her joy as she shares this love with her daughter and observes as her youngest forges her own relationship with them. I feel the same way as my daughters grow to appreciate the wonders of the world around them and use photography to tell the story of what they see. There is nothing that brings me more delight than to watch as they look through the lens and capture the beauty of how they view the world around them, using the medium I love so dearly. Their own perspective, judgment, decisions, the moment they choose to click are unique to each of them. There's something magic about it for me. So I understand what C. Delia meant when she wrote her perfect post. And it brought tears to my eyes.
And what about that picture???

Great post. I love that hat.
