Since I get to write anything I doggone want on Friday, I'm going to talk a little about Minti. Many of you might know that I was awarded a free, free people, free ticket to BlogHer a la the generous people at Minti so without even really knowing them I was a fan. But since the "big win" I have gotten involved with the site and I'm here to say, it's fantastic. What they're doing over there is something very fresh. It's an "advice-opedia" (what a word, huh?) where the people asking for advice are the parents. Here's the great part, the people giving the advice, also the parents. The slogan "Powered by Parents" says it all. Sure there are other advice sites out there. But the thing about Minti is that as soon as you post something, you get feedback. It's seriously instantaneous and, well, I'm hooked. So, check it out because as far as I'm concerned it's Yum Yum, Minti Fresh.
And how about a little more fun? Jennifer at Joyride Through Insanity is having a carnival! Everyone loves those, right? Well, this is of the blog kind. Head over there and read all about it. I think there's a deadline to submit something and I think it is today (oops, sorry) but there may be an update so check it out. Did I say I was hooked on Minti? Well, the same goes for Jennifer's blog. Yowza, that woman has more get up and go than anyone I have ever met! Love her stuff!
Next week will be the unveiling of the pictures I've been getting from you. It's all very exciting and I'm really looking forward to it!

I'm also a big Minti fan; the other parents are so nice and genuine. It's a great resource.
In fact, I'm wearing my Minti t-shirt RIGHT NOW, as I type! How fun is that?

So funny b/c (you can't make this up) I am wearing the track suit I got from them right now, too. powder blue. i sleep in the darn thing it's so great.

You're right, you can't make that up...or can you? I didn't see a powder blue track suit! Lucky. I'm waiting for my Minti insleeves (a la 70s rock). You know I'll be looking like one hot mama in that!

I don't know how to make that link work so you can click on it here?? But anyways, there's the yummy track suit...I'm a powder blue girl but they have it in pink and black, too. Maybe I should've gone for black since I am using it as evening-wear. :-)
