Because the need is there, and I want EVERYONE to submit photos to the contest we've got going, I will just give you a few Flickr tips that might make submitting easier. You know, because I'm like this Flickr guru. NOT NOT and again I say, NOT! But I have gotten to know it a little better so I'll just give you what you need to know.
1. Become a member via your yahoo account (so easy) or create an actual Flickr acct. This SHOULD only take a minute. SHOULD.
2. Now, you're ready to upload images from your computer to Flickr. Click on the upload button from your Flickr home page. And keep in mind that all the blue buttons at the very top of the page (right under the Flickr logo) are your own personal buttons to navigate though the site.
3. Join the Picture This photo groups. There are a list of them. They are found listed here at this post. But you can also just find them a Flickr. From your Flickr home page you click on the button near the top that says groups. You'll be asked to find a group (on the upper right of the screen). Type in clubmom -all one word! (that's a keyword that will bring up all the groups for this blog). Join them all! We have one group that just out "pool" and then all the others are for the contest categories. Sorry but it was easiest that way, believe it or not.
3. Post your images to the group you want to submit it to. Go back to your own home page and click on the image you want to enter into the group. Once you click on it, there will be a bunch of buttons at the top of the image. One button says "send to group'. Click there. Once you do, your list of the groups you belong to will come up. Just click on the one you want to send the image to and it's done.
Please note-IF there is no way you can figure it out, I will post an alternative way to do it where I will submit them for you when I get back from my trip. I request that you reserve this only in desperate measure. And I do know they are out there. But, if I get home to a gazillion photos to submit, I'll cry.
I hope that helps. Any other issues?? And I really do apologize for any trouble you're having and any time you've WASTED trying to submit. I know how valuable mom-time is and for that I'm sorry.
