Mom Bloggers Carnival

Alli of Crumleydotorg wrote about longing for the "normal" or maybe what's better, the absence of the normal (at least for one night). Boy, can I relate!

Peggy, The Chaos Mommy definitely put the chaos aside when she wrote this sweet post on watching her babies grow up before her eyes.

But you can't watch them grow up when they won't leave the womb. Remember those days? I sure do and even though it's been years, I can vividly remember feeling like Nicole did in her "waiting for baby" post. Will the baby ever really come out??

Of course it will. And then sometimes you feel like Jen (one of my newest and most favorite new friends) and her entry struck every chord in my body. Perfectly written and so intensely felt. I just want to curl up and be held.

And speaking of crying, I laughed till I cried when I read Michelle, The Everyday Mom's entry. Classic stuff right there.

Another classic came from Melissa, Here in the Bonny Glen who from what I can gather from this post, is an expert homemaker, among other things. Be prepared to be amazed and informed. I know I was.

There's domestic triumph and then there's true life triumph when our kids blow our minds with their strength and resilience. That's what Heather's post is about at Fumbling for Words. What a great reminder!

And to top off the carnival, with a big fat juicy cherry, I give you Maile's words from this particular Relish Newsletter. Listen, I have no idea where you came from Maile but sister, you're my new visual-internet (a category I just made up) crush.  And that's saying a lot considering I just got to drool all over a whole-buncha-bloggers that I'm madly in love with at BlogHer this weekend.

And yes, I swear, there is going to be some serious BlogHer talk (and photos) the rest of this week but for now go HERE to whet your appetite.

You did an awesome job with the carnival! Thanks so much for hosting. Sorry I couldn't make it to Blogher. Looks like everyone had an amazing time. I'm already making plans to go to both Blogher conferences next year so maybe we can meet then :)
