Tag, You're It!

I know so many of you all had to endure the first day of school this year as well yet no two stories will be alike so I want to hear from you. Some of you have already written blog posts about it and most of you took pictures (I'm SURE) so here's what I'm thinking- why don't you link your post or photo (or combo of both) here, so the rest of us can hear or see what your first day experience was was like. Since I'm not ready for another "contest" yet (NO, I haven't even gotten the prizes out yet...HELLO!) I think it'd be sun to play a game of simple comment linkin'. So, would you, could you comment here with the link of wherever you have your story or photo (on your blog or flickr or wherever). If you haven't yet written about it, then let me gently nudge you into sitting down and doing so. As if you didn't already realize, it's a once in a lifetime and it's something you'll be glad you reflected on. It's a you'll thank me later kinda thing. It can be the first day of preschool, Kindergarten, Middle school, whatever!

Looking back now, I'm so happy I sat down after dropping Julia off on her first day of Kindergarten and wrote this story. It will forever take me back to that milestone in our lives and it will fill in the blanks of my mother-brain. That's always a good thing. Right? I really hope to hear from you all!
