This little nugget was going to be my only shot for My Best Shot Monday. Something about it's chaotic nature, all the color swirling around my daughter as she sat peacefully on the couch one morning doing "her homework". I just like the way it feels (thank you Lensbaby! for the groovy vibe).

But, then, I popped over to Mama Says Om (my favorite distraction) and I couldn't help but share these wonderful shoes (shot the same morning as the other two pix). My oldest daughter wore these shoes and now they fit my youngest. *sigh* Besides feet, shoes are one of my favorite photo subjects. I know, I know, three "best shots" is a little much. Thanks for indulging me.

I was playing with my very limited macro setting on my digital point and shoot. This was something that was growing on our fire wood.
