Remember when I said I missed most of my sister's wedding due to a serious flu bug? I bring it up again only because I'm still bitter. Anyway, I wanted to share at least one of the images I did manage to snap in between waves of nausea, chills, sweating, and excruciating aches and pains. I shot it as she was getting ready at the hotel that morning before the nuptials. It's what I want to share for My Best Shot Monday today.
My little sister. Sigh. Isn't she beautiful??
And here's another Best Shot from the wedding. My oldest daughter captured this one which was also taken in the hotel room but it was after the ceremony when I couldn't hold on any longer and had to retire to a bed. The family came with me and helped me pack up so I could get home to my real bed, where I wouldn't move for 2 days. Anyway, I adore this shot (it sooooo perfectly encapsulates my 3 year old) and it's even sweeter that her sissy took it! What a little photographer she is!
Share with us an image you love this week and I promise not to complain about being sick again.

I just love that pout!
Here's mine:

Tracey, I have never seen a more beautiful wedding photo in my life.. so ethereal, so filled with light and love. Really amazing.
And your daughter is a natural! Both of them, of course. :)

Here's mine. One sick little fellow:

Phenomenal image. It really catches the moment. I hope your sister is planning on framing that. If this is the kind of shot you get at deaths door...you've got to be secure in the fact that you are a NATURAL! Your daughter has some big shoes to fill...she is well on her way.
Heres' mine, although not as artsy this week as yours, fun none-the-less. Glad you are feeling better.

I love how kids don't always feel the need to smile for a camera. Both, fantastic.

I love the wedding photo! Your little girl's pout reminds me of my little one's pout. When she's doing it, I always have to hold back a giggle because it is so darn cute!
Ok, so here's my sleepy little Fiona taken this weekend.

I would be bitter about being ill at my sister's wedding. You can complain all you want! I'm not feeling so hot myself.
Anyway, here is my picture, from this weekend.

Your photo is beautiful. As is the one your oldest took. Here is mine. It's not the greatest photography but the focus is good and it was her birthday on Saturday (St. Patty's Day) - I think she had a good time... http://www.flickr.com/photos/divrchk/425910431/in/pool-ttpt/

The top pic is gorgeous, Tracy! I'm so sorry you were sick.
My daughter was sitting on my lap when I was looking at your post and she said "why does that little girl look so grumpy?" HA! If only she knew that was the look I get from her on a daily basis!

I haven't been taking *great* pictures this week, just great subjects. As a trade to get my son to let me take his picture, I let him take my picture, holding the camera all by himself-with the wrist strap securely fastened of course! So, Jack has this week's best shot:

Your photos always impress. Even when you're horribly sick you catch a beautiful shot. And... it looks like your daughter has inherited your photographic talent!
I'm joining in for the first time!
