Remember when I said I missed most of my sister's wedding due to a serious flu bug? I bring it up again only because I'm still bitter. Anyway, I wanted to share at least one of the images I did manage to snap in between waves of nausea, chills, sweating, and excruciating aches and pains. I shot it as she was getting ready at the hotel that morning before the nuptials. It's what I want to share for My Best Shot Monday today.
My little sister. Sigh. Isn't she beautiful??
And here's another Best Shot from the wedding. My oldest daughter captured this one which was also taken in the hotel room but it was after the ceremony when I couldn't hold on any longer and had to retire to a bed. The family came with me and helped me pack up so I could get home to my real bed, where I wouldn't move for 2 days. Anyway, I adore this shot (it sooooo perfectly encapsulates my 3 year old) and it's even sweeter that her sissy took it! What a little photographer she is!
Share with us an image you love this week and I promise not to complain about being sick again.

What a great shot! You can really tell you're sisters!
Here's mine of my boy's first solo trip on a slide! The quality is not that great. The lighting was weird. But his look is classic.

I love both photos Tracey. Wedding shots can be so amazing when you get out of the traditional mode. Sorry you had to miss out on most of it. And your daughters? Delightful!

First off, I can't believe you had to miss your sister's wedding. I would still be bitter too. But how talented are you that you manage to get a shot like that even when you're not feeling good! Second, your daughter has definitely inherited "the eye"...sounds a little creepy when put that way. :) but that is an amazing shot!

...I half forgot it was Monday already. Thanks for hosting such a fun way to start the week Tracey!

Trying again, as it wouldn't let me in earlier...
I love the soft, floaty feel to the portrait of your sister. And wow, your daughter is quite the photographer already!
Here's mine...a new niece!

I have to post my best shot BEFORE I take hours to pour over all the other amazing entries. I haven't been as diligent as I want about posting each week.
I hope you're feeling better. Your little sister IS beautiful.
Here's my best shot(s) for this week.

Tracey, you have every right to be bitter. That is just not fair. I love how spunky your daughter looks in that picture though.
I couldn't pick one and since they are all in one post it's easier that way.

She is quite the photographer. That's a great shot. I love the first one too. She looks peaceful.
