Picture This: One Clean Contest

Germs are among us. It’s nothing new. But how terribly grossed out do you get when you doing the normal day to day stuff and your kids want a snack (which are almost always finger foods) and there’s no running water or soap in sight? Like after a fun filled day at the park. Your child has touched everything there at least once, along with every other dirty kid in the neighborhood and then, wants to use those same hands for diving into a bag of goldfish. Eeeeeeew.

So, what’s that got to do with My Best Shot Monday? Well, nothing usually but this week is different. This week, not only does my photo of choice encapsulate the above park scenario, but today we are kicking off our latest photo contest here at Picture This. It’s been a while since our last one so the great people at CleanWell and I thought it was high time for a little competitive fun! And they are offering prizes. Free stuff. Wheeeeee.

Besides offering a great product, the CleanWell folks have a good eye for design. Their logo is great, packaging divine, and their website is really lovely to experience. And they’ve got this photo gallery element that is great fun. One way to this girl’s heart is through some good photos! You all know that about me. So, here’s the gig; starting today you are all invited (and your friends and their friends and so on) to enter one photo that you think is a perfect CleanWell Moment. You know, like when you could really use one of their products. You can get an idea of what I mean by looking at what they’ve got in their gallery and go from there. Get creative! Give us YOUR take on a CleanWell Moment.

Logistics are as such—

Choose a fab photo (only one submission per person).
Head over to Flickr and join the CleanWell Moments photo group. Here’s the link. There is more than one CleanWell group. The one for this contest is called CleanWell Moments, FYI.
Once your photo has been uploaded to Flickr, add it to the CleanWell Moments Group.
If you don’t know how, just click on your image on your Flickr page and look at the prompts at the top of the image. One will say “Add to Group”. Click there and click on the CleanWell group in your list. Done!
Encourage your friends to take a peek and enter something as well. Talk about it, blog about it, whatever! The more the merrier as I always say.

The contest will end on Friday, April 29^th at midnight and the winners will be announced on Tuesday, May 1^st right here at Picture This so be sure to tune in then. Now, let me lay out the prize situation for you. The 1^st Place winner will receive a Sampler Pack, 2^nd Place gets a Family Pack and 3^rd Place will walk away with a Travel Pack. i'm late getting around to this today...one of those mondays ;). i've been playing around with natural light since your insightful posts on that subject a month or so ago, tracey. my kids groan whenever they hear, "hey, look at this light! come here while i grab my camera!"

Here is my contest entry. This is of my daughter at the beach "helping" her dad build a sandcastle. The only thing I don't like about going to the beach is that once you get wet sand all over you, it is almost impossible to get it all off!
