We got the chance to experience Illume this weekend and I'll tell you, it was it something to see. A bunch of the worlds greatest "action and adventure" photographs featuring extreme sport athletes doing what they do best lit up the sand and sky of Huntington Beach and it was awe-inspiring to say the least.
Read all about the exhibit on the Red Bull Illume website and get a look at the incredible photographs featured and the photographers that captured them. And I thought chasing after a preschooler with a camera was a challenge!
I look a handful of shots of the evening but this one of my daughter looking at the enormous glowing screen was my top choice for My BSM.
Illume's next stop: Portland, Oregon. If you live there, I encourage you to check out the show when it comes your way.
What glowing images would you like to share? No, 'glow' is not the theme today...I was just trying to be clever.

I love this!
Here's mine:

This isn't MY best shot, it's my husband's. But I thought it fit with the glowy theme. (Remember how "sweat" = "glow"? I'm going on that assumption for this picture. It was HOT.)

I have a hard time getting these types of shots; too much awareness and luck involved. I am please with this one with the object of pride in the foreground and proud kid in the back.

Mine are of the flower-variety, shots of my old backyard since we'll be living in the new backyard by next week:

Now this is really late! I tried posting last night, but typepad wasn't letting me in.
Anyway.. I adore this picture. I'd call it, "beam me up, Scotty!" I just love the way she's standing in a circle of light. Very cool.
Here's my BSM - only a day late
