Spin-Thusday's Theme

Bike_3

My take on our first Thursday's Theme, Spin, was inspired by this definition- 'to tell ; as a yarn or story'.

I feel like this "storyboard" spins it's own tale of my daughter perfectly. Thanks Jen for the input on how to create one of these. I'm giddy that I finally figured it out!! And yes, I shot these with my treasured little Lensbaby.

I will admit, the original image I had in mind was more of the spin as in spinning in circles (something very familiar to many of us moms) but the more I thought about it, I decided this is how I wanted to express Spin. Take it how you will.

And you?? How did you capture your take on Spin?

I LOVE the idea of the themes, but I have been trying to catch my little princess in her hysterical head-tilt, drunken wobbling turn of a spin and just haven't managed yet. It will be my goal today!

My husband and I took a four day vacation earlier this week, so I was on the lookout for things that spin. (He wanted me to find a picture of a politician...)

Here are my favorites:

didn't have a chance to take a new shot but found an older one that fit the theme pretty well!

I actually ended up with two. So I posted them both and am asking for votes on the favorite one. And I worked in a giveaway.

I love your creative take on "spin!"

Here's my spin picture and my plea for help in the DSLR search...please stop by and leave me some advice!

Lovely storyboard Tracey! Here's my spin, which also spins a tale, too:

Since I knew the theme from Monday, I thought about incorporating it into my city blog as well. I saw another carousel shot at Blueberry and Bean. I think her's is better than mine. But here it is nonetheless.

Here's what I have on "spin":

mine was easy, because my husband got a new "toy" last week...my younger son's been asking to take a spin every day :).

Oh, wow, I almost forgot it was Spin Thursday! Here's my loose interpretation: Eli with his abacus. He loves to spin the knobs over and over and over (and over again! :-)

And I almost forgot...your storyboard looks great, Tracey!! ;-)

Mine is up too and loks like a common idea..

Your shots - as always - are beautiful!

No spin for me (just sentimental slop from me today) http://hankandwillie.wordpress.com/2007/06/07/its-not-like-hes-leaving-home-or-anything/, but I had to comment because I just love all the different interpretations, good work ladies!

I love clicking on your sites, and it really made my day to go through them today.

Thank you!
Anna
