Great shot. I always admire photographers willing to temper their colors.
I should. I'm not that brave. I go for saturation.

That's a beautiful shot. I am ready for school to start but it's heating up again this weekend into the high 90's. Here's mine for the week.

I'm not sure if this counts as fading, but it's definitely a lack of color. I also used photoshop (which I am not very good at yet). But I thought it came out pretty well. And funny!

Oh, I LOVE that picture! I always fall for pictures of kiddos walking away, and this one says so much to me. The desaturation and shafow are perfect.

Ooh, the muted tones are gorgeous, and the walking away breaks your heart, for summer and all kinds of things. Such emotion! Great photo, Tracey.
I went for VIVID COLOR, so we didn't have to see summer fade away quite yet.

That's a great photo to fit the theme, Tracey. I really like how it looks aged/faded, too.

GORGEOUS. I also love "walking away" photos (my BSM this week was one, too!) - but you really captured the "fade" with the tone of the photo. So nice.
Mine is a little different fading...

That is a fantastic picture, the colors are so soft.
Mine is the sun fading over Lake Michigan taken at a friend's wedding.

Very evocative. Nice job on the 'faded' colours...
A different kind of 'fade' here.

Lovely picture. Yes, it is fading away too fast.....the leaves on our maples are already starting to fall. We're going to sneak in another beach day tomorrow!

Better late than never! I spent all week racking my brain...and then a comment to a coworker sparked in my head!
I've loved all of your interpretations of the theme!
