ps, that's cool, I didn't know you could "rent" them. I'll have to try that out. I'd love to try out a really good telephoto lens.....any suggestions? It would be for a Nikon D80

Wow - that is wide! And I didn't know that you could rent them either...what a great idea!

Oops...I'm not all there today -- my wide shot is up too...

Fun! I wasn't sure what to post today, so nothing with the theme is up on my blog. I do still have a love of my kit lens 18-55mm 3.5-5.4 (??). One day when I had it at 18mm I let my little man take a picture of me and he kept on putting the camera up and down since he wasn't sure what the distortion was when he was looking through the eye piece. :)

this was a challenging theme...

Tracey, where do you rent from? I'm in Whittier and I haven't been able to find anyone or anywhere that rents around here except in L.A.

I was recently shopping for lenses and was attracted to the very SAME lens! Nice to see what you were able to do with it!

Better late than never! This was a hard one. Your wide feet are wonderful though.

No wide for me this week, but I do want to know what lens you end up with. I'm looking for a new one, as well!

maile

thanks for the sweet comment on the blog! I love this shot. I couldn't live without my wide angle. I use it for almost everything. So much so that i'm selling the 24-70mm 2.8. $800 if you want it. Barely been used, i'm just addicted to wide angle now. I was going to post it on the blog later this week (translation: when I get around to taking a photo of it) :0)
